Cookery Courses

Join us at Les Peupliers, a 200 year old French farmhouse in the heart of the Loire Valley for one of our two-day cookery Master Classes lead by professional chef, Michael Wilke. Michael’s experienced, relaxed style will let you learn in a fun yet informative manner, with time for lots of hands-on practical skills and demonstrations where you can pick up tips and tricks of the professional kitchen. Combine the two day course with a stay at Les Peupliers and discover the beauty and heritage of this part of the Loire along with sampling further aspects of Mike's cooking with his Gourmet Evening Meals each night and relaxing pampering beauty treatments in the on-site beauty room from Tracey.

 

Places will be limited to a maximum of five per class to ensure individual attention. Many aspects of modern cookery will be covered from basic knife skills such as dicing and slicing, to preparing tasty dishes and sauces to food presentation and of course tasting!!! All students will be given their own ‘Les Peupliers’ apron and recipe folder to practice on friends and family when they return home.
